The Carstens and Co. Lab is a 4-part storytelling and live music performance series presented by Arno Carstens exploring the themes of inspiration and collaboration in music. For this episode, Arno Carstens and guest artist Zolani Mahola, perform in an intimate setting, sharing the stories behind the music. The event was filmed in September 2020, and streamed live from Lionel Smit Studio in Cape Town, South Africa.

Founder and former lead singer of the critically acclaimed pan-African supergroup Freshlyground; Zolani Mahola is The One Who Sings – a joyfully authentic world class creative force for social good. A multi award-winning storyteller, songwriter and actress, Mahola believes in the power of story and that “our world is changing.
